Ireneusz (Eric) Skorupa has over 30 years of experience in traditional photography. He started with old rangefinder
cameras in the late 1970's. The cameras were all manual back then, and that was the first time when his interest in photography, capturing the right moment began.
Photography began his passion.
Next years brought new and better camera bodies and his first publication in a photographic magazine. In 1989 he photographed his first wedding assignment. Since then he photographed numerous events and offered on-location portrait sessions.
Eric has earned a Certificate in Professional Photography through the New York institute of Photography. He continued his education through different courses and workshops at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
In 2002 after many years of traditional photography he switched to digital imaging.
For a couple of years Eric was involved in digital photo restoration that required a profound knowledge of the current state of the art photo editing software. He uses these skills to enhance and retouch the photographs he takes on a daily basis.
In 2003 Eric joined Istockphoto, the world leader in stock photography and the next year he became an exclusive Istockphoto contributor. He has licensed almost a hundred thousand images to designers all over the world.
